FOR THE DONOR
If you are with a clinic that has referred you to us and would like to be matched with a Recipient who will share in the costs of your cycle, contact us at our office: 818-766-8086. We will then have you fill out an application and send us baby and childhood photos of yourself. Your information will appear in an online database - accessible only by serious potential Recipients who have to call for a password. Then, when we are contacted by a person or couple who would like to be matched with you, we will contact you immediately to find out your availability. Once the Recipients have been screened by your clinic, the clinic will set up a schedule to synchronize your cycles - through birth control pills - and you will also be put on Lupron. You will take stimulating hormones to grow the follicles in your ovaries that contain the eggs. The Recipient will take medication to help prepare her uterus for some of the embryos that will be created from your eggs and her partner's sperm. When your eggs are ready to be harvested you will go to your RE's office for the retrieval. One half of the retrieved eggs will be given to you and the other half to the Recipient. Your partner's sperm will only be used to fertilize your half of the eggs, while the Recipient will use either her partner's sperm or donor sperm for her half of the eggs. Three days later you will return for the egg transfer, as will your Recipient. The ideal Recipient is someone who has been told she needs an egg donor due to repeated IVF failures, age or FSH issues, but cannot afford to move forward because of the ever-rising price of a fresh donor cycle.

If you are approved by one of the participating clinics we will accept you into the program and have you fill out a questionnaire. We will contact you when a Recipient makes a match. It's that simple.
The relationship between donor and Recipient is completely anonymous. You will never meet your Recipient nor know if there is a pregnancy that results from your donation. She in turn will not have any current information about you either. What you will have, however, is the satisfaction that your contribution may have helped fulfill someone's lifelong dream of becoming a parent -at a significant savings to both of you. This is truly a win-win situation.
