HOW A SHARED CYCLE WORKS
Agency for Shared Cycle Solutions, Inc. brings together a young, healthy woman (under age 33) who wants to do an IVF cycle but cannot currently afford it, with a couple or person in need of an egg donor. The Donating Woman is hormonally stimulated and an egg retrieval is performed. The resulting eggs are then split equally between the two parties and the eggs are then fertilized with their own sperm --by that we mean one set of eggs is fertilized by the spouse or partner of the Donating Woman and the other half with the sperm of the spouse, partner, or sperm donor of the Recipient Woman. The parties remain anonymous to each other both before and after the procedure. The pregnancy outcomes are not revealed to either party.
Both party's costs will be at least half (or even less than half) of what it would have been if they had chosen not to split the cycle and had each tried to do it independently.
WHAT WE DO
In the past, clinics have occasionally done these types of arrangements in-house. But the time and coordination involved is cost-prohibitive for them to do it on a larger scale. That is where we come in. Agency for Shared Cycle Solutions is now making this option a reality for many couples. We offer a database of potential donors, we help coordinate the cycles with the clinic, we take care of the legal and psychological aspects, and are here to hold your hand, should you need it -- in essence, we take away the stress of the details so that you can focus on the miracle of creating a child!
THE CLINICS
Currently we are only working with selected Reproductive Clinics that have superior statistics for IVF, shared and donor cycles. Our program is an anonymous one - and will remain that way. We have negotiated all inclusive package rates that are substantially lower than regular IVF or donor cycles and significantly less than typical shared cycles.
